We are the only theater dedicated to showing art house films in the Charleston area, and are proud to fill this vital role for the community. Without our presence, many groundbreaking and award-winning films would never be seen in Charleston. Winner of Best Movie Theater in Charleston numerous times including 2015. We also play cutting edge 1st run commercial films.
Our concessions menu has been designed to provide suitable selections for everyone, from standard movie fare like popcorn and soda to imported and domestic beer and wine (OVER 50 VARIETIES). Caramel Cake, Paolo’s Gelato, Gourmet Ghiradelli & Lindt chocolates, and exotic treats.
Ticket Prices – tax included
Adults (under 65 years of age) : $10.00
Seniors (65 and over) : $7.50
Matinees (before 3 pm) : $7.50
Students and Military (with ID) : $8.00
All ticket sales are final.
Refunds only on power outages and other acts of God.
Any person who leaves the film within the first few minutes will be granted a pass by the manager at their sole discretion.
Tickets can be picked up by bringing credit card to box office or bringing in confirmation number.

Directions to The Terrace
From Downtown: Take the Crosstown South to the Ashley River Bridge. After crossing the bridge, keep left, as if you were going to Folly Beach. Once you are on Folly Road, you will pass the South Windemere shopping center and continue until you cross a drawbridge. Just after the drawbridge, you will make a right onto Maybank Highway. The theater is just ahead on the right.
From East Cooper: Take Highway 17 South to the Cooper River Bridge. As you exit the bridge, continue on 17 (now the Crosstown) and follow the directions from Downtown.
Take I-26 East to Charleston. You will get off at the exit for Highway 17 South (which is the Crosstown) and follow the directions from Downtown.
